Writing Life: The Blog
Welcome to Writing Life! Here, you’ll find short stories and articles on grammar, fiction writing, travel writing, and real life adventures. Our content contributes to writing, traveling, fictional adventures, or all of the above!
You’ll also notice that our blog includes Weekly Words, which are a handy way for you to spice up your prose and expand your vocabulary, thus impressing your friends. We also have Quips, which are notable quotes from famous authors (or the under-appreciated geniuses we know in real life) on writing and life in general.
As one more fact, if you subscribe to our weekly newsletter, you’ll receive a free mini ebook: Bust Writer’s Block – 5 Tools I Use to Survive the Creative’s Sahara—which, might I add, is a resource only available for our loyal subscribers! In other words, you won’t find this for sale anywhere. It’s for you. And it comes with our Tuesday morning newsletter, which provides free writing tips and fun facts once a week!
Writing Life: The Service
As a lover of writing, I make my living off of helping other writers. Whether you need content for a website or blog, an editor for your dissertation or short story, or a coach to help you plot your novel or nonfiction book, I offer these services and more. Check out your options on my Hire Me page, or read up on these testimonials to certify my skills.
For rates and personal quotes, send me an email and we can get started!

Our goal is to provide high quality literature that excites, encourages, and evokes emotion from our readers. We LOVE comments, discussion, and feedback on our stories, and invite you to read and share your thoughts!
We aren’t limited to our own content. We are excited to begin publishing a variety of authors. If you are interested in being published through Pillar House Press or being featured on Writing Life’s blog, visit our Guest page for our submission guidelines, and contact us to find out more!
